Asus had recently announced the P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard with Anti-surge technology especially designed for Indian consumers. The company is now offering Burnt warranty on the very same motherboard.
Talking about this new warranty policy, Vinay Shetty – Country Head – Component Products, ASUS (India) said, "Offering burnt warranty on the P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard is another way of giving our customers total piece of mind when buying an ASUS product. The P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard was conceived by our R&D team especially keeping the Indian environment in mind and under this new warranty policy, the company will replace the motherboard that’s burnt due to power fluctuation. With this little step of providing a real solution to the loss a user could have had due to the power fluctuation problem we want make a strong impression in the mind of our partners in business and to the users at large that we are a brand that cares for our customers and work towards a real solution. Technically such innovative technology would have made its entry in the high end product line but we wanted this to be a product of the common man; the one who faces the brunt of the power fluctuations."
Under this new warranty policy if at all the P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard is burnt due to power supply (SMPS) failure; the customer need not worry as the motherboard will be replaced by the company at no extra cost.

Asus Launches EAH4890 Series of Graphics Cards
Asus has introduced the Asus EAH4890 Series - the first graphics cards to utilize Voltage Tweak technology.
With these cards users will be able to boost GPU voltages via the SmartDoctor application and enjoy up to 15% in performance improvement.
"Gaming has been the segment which has made the graphics card industry more challenging and has helped to raise the performance bar for graphics cards. Asus has launched the brand new M4 Series motherboards to fully support the AMD next generation AM3 processors.
